What is Knew House?
Knew House is a private member’s network for established female executives and entrepreneurs. Members are placed into hyper curated groups, called ‘Houses’ that meet to take part in structured meetings. Along with meetings, Knew House members attend exclusive events, workshops, develop deep connections with one another, and are given opportunities to strengthen leadership, get to their next level, and grow personally and professionally.
Who is Knew House designed for?
Knew House’s private network is designed for established female entrepreneurs and executive level leaders with 3+ years of experience in their positions. Our members are ambitious, driven, and ready to get to their next level through connection with likeminded women. Our top member industries in our network span across many sectors, including but not limited to: Technology and innovation Finance and banking Communications & public relations Non-profit and social impact organizations Entrepreneurship Food and beverage manufacturing Real estate Fitness and health The diversity of industries in Knew House allows for members to engage in meaningful conversations, learn about other industries, and grow personally and professionally through connection. Membership may not be suitable for those who… Have not yet gained 3-5 years of experience in their current leadership role Those who are primarily seeking to promote or solicit their services Those who view their membership as a platform for self promotion, without actively participating in the community at events, meetings, etc. Individuals who engage in competitive, and negative behaviour Individuals who breach confidentiality, or privacy within our network Knew House aims to build an environment focused on growth, and connection. Individuals who do not align with these values or objectives may not be the right fit for this network.
What is the application process?
The first step is to submit an application. You will then be prompted to schedule a 30 minute interview. During this interview, we spend time getting to know you, and your interest in Knew House. We will also share more information about our community and answer any questions you have. If you qualify for membership, you will be sent an acceptance email typically within one week after your interview.
What is a 'House'?
A House is a hyper-curated group of 5-10 women that meet to take part in structured meetings. Our Houses are made up of entrepreneurs and executive leaders who are aligned based on experience, but differ in industry and roles. In contrast to one-on-one coaching, the House meetings allows members to confidentiality meet, support, share, and discuss challenges and successes with true peers. House meetings have been a transformative experience for so many of our members.
What are the qualifications?
You are the Founder, Co-Founder, Owner, Co-Owner, C-Level Executive, at an executive level, or are a controlling shareholder of a company. You have been in this position, or a similar/relevant position for 3+ years in a full-time capacity.
I don’t meet the qualifications, can I still apply?
Our qualifications are in place for a reason. We need to know that you have had enough problems, and have solved these problems. The only way to have done this is to have been in a leadership position, and have been in that position for a specific amount of time. We do, however, take into account your previous position, and employment history. If you’ve held a similar position, or have the experience, please let us know in your application. This will help us determine if you’re the right fit for Knew House. If you don’t qualify now, we encourage you to re-apply or apply when you do.
What if I don't get accepted?
If your application for membership is not accepted, it is not a no, but rather a not yet. We hope to invite you to join as you progress with your career, or we evolve to serve more segments of women in the workplace.
What is the investment?
There is both a monetary investment, and an investment of time when you become a member of Knew House. The annual investment is $2,250; which goes towards your meetings, events, administration, and the healthy growth of the organization. Members will attend monthly meetings which may take anywhere from 2-4 hours. During this meeting, you are encouraged to be fully present, unplugged, and open and vulnerable for your House.

What is the monthly meeting?
Our monthly meeting structure is one of the most unique components of Knew House. Without spilling all the secrets before you join, members meet with their House every month and share what they are currently going through in their work, family, and with themselves in a real and honest way. This is followed by a discussion on a current situation members are facing, which promises high value experience, connections, and support for all members of the House.
How is my House selected?
Houses are carefully curated once new members join Knew House. Selections are based off experience, personalities, and industry. This ensures that the House is made up of unique individuals, who come from different backgrounds, and have lots of experience to share with one another. Members from the same industry will not be placed into the same House to deter conflicts. Requests may be made if you know of an individual applying, but it is not guaranteed that they will be in your House. We encourage members to branch out of their comfort zone in Knew House, in the spirit of true connection and vulnerability.
Will I always be in the same House? What if I want a change?
While we do as much as possible to find the perfect mix for a House, we understand that needs and preferences can change over time. When this happens, we work with the member to understand what they are looking for, and how we can better meet their needs. Besides this, your House will experience change for the following reasons… 1. Members in your House are experiencing conflict, or have a conflict of interest 2. A member leaves Knew House 3. Your House has an open seat and your entire House decides to elect a Knew member
