The need for connection stemmed from a large gap in the business and networking industry in Winnipeg, Canada. Our Founder, Leilah Perchaluk, saw the missing piece and set out to make the change.

About the Founder
Knew House was founded by Leilah Perchaluk, an entrepreneur who began her career in the life insurance industry - a male-dominated space where she quickly learned how isolating leadership can feel without the right peers in the room.
As a young, ambitious woman building her career, Leilah searched for spaces where she could connect with women at a similar stage — women who understood both the opportunity and responsibility that come with growth. She explored networking groups, coaching programs, online communities, and even hosted her own events, but consistently found a lack of depth, structure, and true alignment.
Rather than continue searching for the right space, she built it.
Knew House began as a response to a personal need — to be understood, challenged, and supported by women who shared similar stakes and standards. What started as a small group has grown into a multi-city community of accomplished women across industries.
Today, Leilah leads Knew House with a clear focus: protecting the integrity of the experience, supporting meaningful connection, and ensuring that the community evolves alongside the women within it.
