EVENTS
At Knew House, community is at the heart of what we do. In addition to structured meetings for members, events are hosted annually so all members can connect and grow.
Biz Tour
Inside the Build
In June, Knew House members got a behind-the-scenes look at the new Sage Creek school with Christina Legris, Partner at Number TEN Architectural Group. This Biz Tour offered more than a walkthrough, it was an inside look at how thoughtful design supports how kids learn today. From natural light to flexible classrooms, every detail had purpose. It was insightful, intentional—and so stunning, we all kind of wanted to go back to school.

Member Event Series
The Art of Defence: Part One
Knew House members stepped into the studio this May for Part One of the Art of Defence, an in-person self-defense experience hosted in both Winnipeg and Toronto. Led by expert instructors, this physical session wasn’t just about learning how to react, it was about reconnecting with how we move, stand, and take up space.

From boundary-setting body language to real-life tactics that build confidence, members practiced holding their ground (literally and figuratively). It was hands-on, energizing, and full of “wait, I’ve needed this for a long time” moments.

Whether it was throwing a punch or simply learning to walk into a room with more presence, the session offered a rare kind of clarity: that strength isn't just a mindset, it's muscle memory.

Member Workshop
LinkedIn for Business: Elevate your Profile & Grow your Brand
Knew House members logged on in May for a hands-on session with Steph Gillies, a dynamic Speaker and Career Story Coach who’s helped several of our members transform their personal brands. In this virtual workshop, Steph broke down how to use LinkedIn as more than a digital resume—and instead, as a tool to grow your business, visibility, and voice.

From profile glow-ups to content strategies that cut through the noise, this session was packed with insights and “ohhh, I need to change that” moments. It was practical, energizing, and full of the kind of clarity that sparks action. Members left feeling empowered to show up online with more intention—and a secret pact to comment on each other’s posts for max engagement.
